Two wins at Snetterton
Wow, that was a great weekend at Snetterton. 2 poles and 2 wins. If that makes it sound easy; it definitely wasn’t!
Although I led from the start of each race, it’s hard to be in front for the whole race, managing the gap to the car behind and looking after tyres to the end of the race whilst driving to the maximum without an error. I was overjoyed and so relieved to take the two wins.
I was very happy with the car which was perfect throughout practice, qualifying and the races. Huge thanks to Redline Racing. The team did a brilliant job and I’m really enjoying working with them.
I have extended the lead in the championship to 16 points over Michael Meadows, but there’s a lot of racing still to come this season with 8 more races to go, so we have to keep working hard with the team to get the best results possible.
The next round is 23/24 August at Knockhill in Scotland. I have never been to the circuit and I know that Michael has always had great results there, so I’m going to have to work very hard to learn the circuit and work with the team to get the best possible set up.
I’ve been overwhelmed with so many messages during the weekend so thank you for your amazing support. You can be sure I’ll be working really hard to try to continue the good run of solid results to the end of the season.
