New race calendar
The past months have been extremely challenging and it’s awful to hear every day of the loss of so many people to the Covid19 virus, which continues to affect lives around the world.
In line with other businesses and sports resuming, motor sport in the UK is gearing up to re-start and we have a new calendar for the 2020 Porsche Carrera Cup GB (PCCGB) Championship, running as part of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) events:
1/2 August: Donington Park
8/9 August: Brands Hatch GP
22/23 August: Oulton Park
29/30 August: Knockhill
19/20 September: Thruxton
26/27 September: Silverstone
24/25 October: Snetterton
14/15 November: Brands Hatch Indy
You can see my brand new race car livery above, the photo was taken at the Porsche Media Day in March. The car looks awesome and as you can see I’ll have race number 4 this year.
Finally, you may have heard that I worked as a delivery driver for Tesco during lockdown! I was grateful for the opportunity to keep busy and to be able to contribute by delivering groceries to vulnerable people locally when Tesco were short of drivers. I really enjoyed it and I’m pleased to have helped. I have to admit though, the van was a bit slow and didn’t handle so well! Happily I managed to get all the orders to customers without breaking their eggs!
So, if you hear any comments on TV about me being a Tesco delivery driver, you heard it here first!
I’ll update again before the first race with the race and TV schedule. In the meantime I hope you all keep well and enjoy some sunny days.
