Belgian GP at Spa Francorchamps – my favourite circuit!
I’ve been looking forward to this weekend all season. Spa Francorchamps in Belgium is one of the most spectacular race circuits in the world and it’s awesome to race there.
Why is it so special? The natural forest setting is very beautiful, and there are many elevation changes on the iconic 7km circuit with every type of corner to negotiate including of course, one of the most famous corners in the world, Eau Rouge, which is a thrill ride in any race car. It’s a challenging circuit but so rewarding when you get it right.
Also the weather often plays a part at Spa, and can throw in more challenges! It can change from minute to minute and it can be dry on part of the circuit and wet in another.
The schedule this weekend is (UK timings):
Friday 25th August
17:00 – 17:45 Practice
Saturday 26th August
08:45 – 09:15 Qualifying
17:35 – 18:10 Race 1 (11 laps)
Sunday 27th August

Both races are shown live:

Thanks to everyone who has messaged me. I’m grateful for the support! Let’s see what we can do this weekend. I’ll be giving it everything as always, but I’d love to get my first podium for Fach Auto Tech this weekend at Spa.
Have a great weekend and if you’re in Belgium for the Grand Prix I hope you have an awesome time. If you can, come and say hi in the Porsche paddock.
