Welcome to the official website of racing driver Josh Webster...

Here you'll find all the latest news about the 18 year old Suffolk based racing driver, 2011 RSF MSA Young Driver of the Year and the youngest member of the MSA Team UK elite driver squad.

Following a glittering karting career, Josh graduated to single-seater competition in 2010 with Fortec Motorsport - finishing fourth overall and top rookie in the Protyre Formula Renault BARC Championship, before going on to win the 2010 Formula Renault BARC Winter Championship.

In 2011 with nine podiums from ten race finishes, Josh ended the series as Vice Champion due to suffering two non-finishes. Josh fought hard to the end despite his points disadvantage, taking the championship fight down to the wire in the final race of the season at Silverstone.

Josh stepped up to Formula Renault 2.0 UK for the six-round Finals Series in November 2011 driving for Mark Burdett Motorsport. With just a few days' experience in the new car he secured 3rd place overall in the championship, in the series' most competitive year ever, with 29 cars on the grid including drivers from top European Teams and seasoned Formula Renault 2.0 UK drivers.

In 2012 Josh was due to compete in the Certina Formula Renault 2.0 UK Championship until the series was cancelled less than two weeks before the first race meeting. The loss of one of the UK's leading single-seater championships, which had launched the Formula 1 racing careers of Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Räikkönen, Heikki Kovalainen and Paul Di Resta, is very sad for UK motorsport. Josh has therefore returned to the Protyre Formula Renault BARC Championship in a last minute deal to race with MGR Motorsport.

Josh races in support of East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).
